Ever since Soudwave was taken off the touring festival roster, fans of Rock & Heavy Metal music have been without a gig to wet their appetites.
Well now they can once again break out the long mullets and leather jackets being worn exclusively in the summer, with Download Festival set to make it's debut in Australia in late 2017/early 2018.
It's expected that concert super-promoters Live Nation and music label UNFD will join hands on this one, Which means the festival could look like a DC comics TV show crossover, if Soundwave and UNIFY Gathering we're in the Arrowverse.
The exciting news that the touring festival lineup will have a precious newborn entering the ranks comes off the back of rumours that Download would be expanding Down Under, which first erupted back in February when the juggernaut English festival’s own booker Andy Copping told Aussie fans to “watch this space."
